Ken and Darlene have been and continue to be crucial to the continued success of and improvements at 4-H Camp Ohio. We are so grateful for the time, coordination, and hard work that these two have given to camp over the last 40 years, especially since the pandemic.
Sewing curtains for the cabins, building and fixing things around camp, hours and hours of painting, coordinating donations, writing grants, serving on the Board and as the Chair of the Facilities Committee are just some of the examples of the dedication that the Lafontaine's give to camp.
4-H Camp Ohio staff and 4-H campers appreciate all the volunteers who have come onsite to help clean up and improve camp, especially since 2020 when our facility had no other option but to close it's doors indefinitely. If you are interested in volunteering some of your time to help at camp, Ken coordinates "Work Days" and is always looking for more hands.
